Job Summary
Inline Electric is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee electrical projects from inception to completion. The Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as in-depth knowledge of electrical systems and construction processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Coordination:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
- Prepare and submit necessary project documentation, including permits and compliance reports.
- Execution and Monitoring:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of electrical projects, ensuring adherence to plans and schedules.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and safety standards are maintained.
- Budget and Resource Management:
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Allocate resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Client Relations:
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates and reports to clients, ensuring transparency and trust.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality electrical work and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Education and Experience:
- Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in project management within the electrical construction industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing electrical projects of various sizes and complexities.
- Skills and Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Certifications:
- PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is preferred.
- Electrical Journeyman or Masters License a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to visit and inspect job sites, which may involve climbing, lifting, and exposure to various weather conditions.
