What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Analyst position at Inmar?
Under moderate supervision, complete field audits of products in a professional and timely manner using acquired independent judgment in interpreting and administering the client’s damaged goods policies, and subsequently exercise discretion in making decisions that positively impact the client and Company.
- Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of all field operations processes including scanning, TRACE, data collection, and fuel sampling.
- Learn and maintain detailed knowledge of company policies and the product policies for each manufacturer client.
- Perform inspections of specific manufacturer’s unsaleable product in designated reclamation centers in the assigned region.
- Analyze products to determine whether reimbursable under the manufacturer’s policy (razor cut and undamaged product).
- Develop and maintain a collaborative professional relationship with center management and other departments throughout the organization.
- Perform all required product dispositions, including call–ins to the Transportation Department.
- Maintain close out schedule for each reclamation center assigned to and make inspection appointments as needed.
- Back up inspection data daily and upload data to IT weekly according to specified deadlines (12:00pm Saturday EST).
- Expend Company funds in accordance with the Company’s travel and expense policies.
- Complete and submit all paperwork in specified time frame (call reports, expense reports, TRACE paperwork, etc.).
- Supply competitive information whenever possible.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge and expertise regarding all new services.
- Communicate any reclamation center changes and TRACE contact information to appropriate departments for updating purposes.
- Raise level of TRACE module expertise to ‘Leader’ status to achieve Senior Field Analyst status.
- Successfully complete training of all field related services and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
III. Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or its equivalent with two (2) years auditing/bar code scanning experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the job responsibilities.
Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office computer software package including Excel and Word
Ability to secure reliable transportation to and from assigned client locations
Ability to travel overnight independently
Ability to meet set production and quality goals and follow standard operating and safety procedures
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a timely and professional manner
Proven detail orientation and organizational skills
Must possess interpersonal skills
Ability to work with hazardous waste
Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment
