Position Summary: The Senior Analyst, Financial Analysis performs as an integral member of the Inmar Finance Team. The primary focus of the position is to create and/or maintain financial analysis and reporting that provides actionable analysis to drive business profitability and timely decision making. Primary Accountabilities: Operational (55%) Assist Sr. Manager and other Finance team members in the preparation of the annual Budget and Quarterly Forecast updates as needed Develops, maintains and produces monthly, quarterly or annual reports, as required and provides insights into the trends Lead critical review and analysis of forecasting activities Work closely with Finance Managers on a variety of projects to identify and execute continuous improvement efforts to drive savings in process and operational execution. Manage business unit’s participation in the month-end close process. Create and deliver enhanced personnel reporting to demonstrate operational effectiveness and leverage Review monthly expenses and provide variance explanations Develop and lead projects to identify, synthesize and recommend business decisions that drive organizational actions that positively impact financial performance Other duties and/or projects as assigned. Analytics (45%) Identifies and analyzes business problems and devises procedures and solutions to the problems. Cost and profitability analysis to support Product Development, Operations, Client Services & Sales Enhance reporting capabilities with greater depth and consistency in formats Gather, analyze and summarize data for Ad-hoc reports requested by Manager or Director Required Qualifications: Bachelors’ Degree in Finance and/or Accounting Experience with Data Management tools such as Tableau or Alteryx 3-5 years of work experience, or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to complete the major responsibilities/essential functions of the position Proficient with G-Suite and Microsoft Office Expert using Excel and related tools Experience with financial/accounting systems, Oracle preferred Individual Competencies: Critical Thinking: Ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach.
