JOB DESCRIPTION
Follow setup procedures for equipment
Follow work instructions for operation of production equipment
Understand and consistently apply all customer and company quality standards
Monitor process conditions and make necessary adjustments on equipment to ensure proper quality and yield performance is maintained
Control mechanical processes, optimal temperatures, speeds, and settings on production equipment
Work with all chemicals and any other products used in production processes, following applicable safety procedures
Verify correct raw materials are queued up and ready to process
Accurately and timely record data
Perform other duties and tasks assigned to operations as directed - including field checks, equipment preparation, samples, etc.
Maintain clean and safe work area
Follow all safety rules and regulations, including the use of appropriate PPE at all times
Follow all Company rules and policies

QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATION
Ability to work 12-hour non-rotating shifts in a 7X24 chemical operation
Ability to work overtime as needed
Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing
Basic reading skills
Strong mechanical aptitude
Accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to follow work instructions and procedures
Troubleshooting skills
Ability to work well as part of a team
Ability to multi-task
Exceptional attendance and work ethic
Previous chemical manufacturing experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand and / or walk continuously throughout a 12-hour shift on flooring surfaces of concrete, steel or metal grating
Frequently climbing or descending stairs
Capable of frequently pulling hoses (up to 50 lbs.) across the floor
Pushing equipment on casters across the floor
Pushing or rolling drums weighing up to 500 lbs
In addition to standing, climbing, walking, pushing, and pulling, the frequent physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, repetitive motions, and eye / hand / foot coordination, and feeling.
