This position is responsible for manufacturing operations support including, but not limited to, production data entry, inventory cycle counting, and stock movements. Maintains site inventory database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory levels. Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count. Investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Transacting Inventory - transact inventory between departments using the Microsoft Dynamics AX system within the company. Transactions include counting journals for inventory adjustments, issuing materials to production orders, transfer journals, and other stock movement journals as necessary.
· Analyze Inventory Failures - Inventory failures include inaccurate quantity information in the inventory system. A failure in inventory numbers causes problems with purchasing, manufacturing and shipments to customers. The inventory control analyst determines how the failure occurred and the steps that can be taken to prevent failures in the future.
· Inventory Control, Cycle Counting - Inventory control strategies include regular cycle counting to keep inventory quantities accurate, developing processes for the transaction of inventory within the production floor and the transaction of scrap materials. The inventory control analyst puts these strategies into place to ensure an accurate inventory and performs the daily cycle counting activities. In addition, the inventory control analyst will assist in establishing and maintaining stock storage procedures to promote efficient utilization of storage facilities.
· Forklift operation – inventory control operations require the use of forklifts to position stocks for the most effective use of the business – receiving, shipping, storing, and counting. The inventory control analyst must be capable of safe and efficient operation of forklifts.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with AX and SAP preferred
- Ability to work 8-hour shifts 5 days/week
- Ability to work overtime as required and in the event of emergencies
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Basic math skills such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
- Basic reading skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to follow work instructions and procedures
- Ability to locate information
- Ability to multi-task
- Performs work under minimal supervision

Desired:
- High school diploma
- Previous Inventory, Warehouse, Forklift experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand and/or walk continuously throughout an 8-hour shift on flooring surfaces of concrete, steel, or metal grating
- Pushing or rolling drums weighing up to 500 lbs
- In addition to standing, climbing, walking, pushing, and pulling, the frequent physical demands of the position are lifting, carrying, balancing, stooping, crouching, reaching, handling, grasping, repetitive motions, and eye/hand/foot coordination, and feeling.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
