This position is based in Ohatchee, Alabama.
Reporting to the Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the quality assurance system and promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization to optimize the cost/quality performance of Innotex products.
KEY OBJECTIVES
· Manage the quality assurance system and various continuous improvement projects.
· Regularly update quality indicators and quality system records, perform analyses of non-quality costs.
· Participate in external audits and coordinate internal audits.
· Conduct training on quality system and standards.
· Monitor and analyze RANCs and CAR’s (Corrective action requests).
· Perform raw material testing and evaluation as required to validate compliance.
· Participate and track effectiveness of Kaizen groups.
· Support the Customer Service team and 1851 with customer issue analysis and solutions.
· Manage improvement programs related to the cost/quality of products.
QUALIFICATIONS
· College degree in management, engineering, or other related fields.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality coordinator position or equivalent.
· Experience with Excel and Office suite.
· Experience in an ISO9001 certified environment.
· Ability and willingness to travel to Quebec, Canada.
