Innova Solutions is immediately hiring Computer Support.

Position type: Full-time - Contract

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Newport News VA

As a Computer Support, you will:

• Performs a variety of duties in support of a computer, network (LAN/WAN), and/or client server unit.
• Reviews input data to verify adequacy and appropriateness of material required for data processing and related operations.
• Reviews output data to verify completeness, accuracy, and conformance to quality standards and specifications. Maintains internal records and may catalog, disperse, and return tapes/disks.
• May review daily processing logs and may set or revise schedules.
• First 8 weeks for onsite training.
• Candidates will need to be available for 1st & 2nd Shifts.
• Threat detection and response
• Incident management
• Attention to detail (system log query and interpretation)
• SIEM and SOAR familiarity (Preferably Splunk or Google platforms)
• Escalation and Triage of events and alerts being monitored through various technology platforms.
• Experience developing detections/alerts (fine tuning and analysis)
• SEC certification

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Scripting language and experience, e.g., Microsoft PowerShell
• Creating and maintaining security policy and procedures
• Associate's Degree

Pay Range*: $25 - $33 per hour.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
