What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Lead position at Innovation Associates, Inc.?
The Role:
Provide support to Quality and Manufacturing departments ensuring compliance with Engineering and regulatory requirements through the Quality Management System (QMS).
What you’ll do:
- Participate in both internal and external audits to verify conformance to procedures.
- Participate in problem-solving at inspection as well as manufacturing and product assembly levels
- Develop inspection plans based on product nonconformance data and product critical to quality features
- Collect failure data from all the product testing's available
- Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities and implementing improvements in the QMS
- Lead product containment activities
- Support Quality Manager in Supplier quality documentation procedures
- Support Quality Manager in customer RMA documentation procedures
- Represent quality department and provide updates at daily meetings
- Support Quality Manager in the documenting day to day quality activities
- Support defect tracking process, track progress on corrective actions
- Facilitate understanding quality systems working with production employees
- Assist with Material Review Board activities
- Ensure all incidents of non-conformance are recorded
Who you are:
- Working knowledge in reading and interpreting drawings, technical specification and industry standards.
- Knowledge of a wide variety of product functional inspection and test equipment and methodologies
- Assocaite degree or 3 years of relevant work experience
- Ability to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Ability to work within time and budget constraints.
- Knowledge on IPC standards and testing procedures
