Job Description – Quality Compliance Specialist Job Details Location: Millville, NJ Shift: 1st Shift Reports to: Director of Quality
Job Summary The Quality Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring that high standards are met and that the company is adhering to regulations, other legislative and statutory requirements, and internal standards. They will oversee documentation compliance, auditing and reporting information gathered, making recommendations about improvements, and supporting individuals, teams and the company to achieve better quality outcomes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manages all internal and external inspections/regulatory visits. Leads audit preparation activities- accompanies inspector- and completes necessary reports and posting.
Performs follow up activities to non-conformances found and provides responses as appropriate.
Plans- defines- and- directs the Site auditing control program to ensure compliance to all procedures and policies to ensure compliance to regulatory- federal- and local laws. This includes identification of facility Quality KPI’s- corrective/preventive action and continuous improvement initiatives. Trains and mentors site Auditors to ensure program goals are met.
Manages execution of site GMP and HACCP programs
Manages Quality systems and supports the updating of Quality refresher training (e.g. GMP’s, allergens, hold/release) as needed.
Organizes and maintains a quality document system
Ensures Quality policies are understood and communicated to site employees.
This role may require off-shift and weekend work
This role may require some travel (less than 5%)

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
A minimum of 2 years of manufacturing quality or operations compliance experience
Demonstrated planning and organization skills
Demonstrated front-line supervisory skills
Computer proficiency in Microsoft Suite
Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
Ability to lead a team-based approach to decision making
Demonstrated ability to work in a results-oriented, challenging environment
Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
Ability to read, speak, and write in English
Flexibility to work overtime and additional shifts based on business needs
