This position is under the direct supervision of the management entity. The individual in this position will be expected to supervise and manage the entire assisted living program operations, including all personnel functions, direct care, resident services, food service, operational, physical plant/maintenance, marketing and outreach of prospective residents and clients, enforce and maintain policies and procedures, statutory requirements, respond to inspector site visits, including the licensing agency and ensure welfare and safety of residents.
This position interfaces with the resident and health care providers, families and powers of attorneys. This individual is responsible for the admission, retention and discharge of residents and clients. This position supervises, recruits, hires, trains and terminates all employees in consultation with the payroll company and the management company as needed.
The position handles the leasing process including scheduling appointments with prospective residents, qualifying of prospective residents, showing the community, and leasing available units. This position will work with the staff in processing move in or residents into the community and overseeing resident’s financial matters. This position will also closely monitor the residents with government subsidies to ensure residents are moved in with the subsidies in place and the renewal process is followed.
This position requires being CORE-certified by the State of Florida and have at least five years of experience in senior living.
