Job Title – Stock Room Clerk
Classification: non-exempt
Full time: typical hours 7:30am-4pm; Monday-Friday; overtime as directed
Salary/Wage: $18-20 pr hr
Reports to: Director of Materials
Summary: this position requires the timely stocking of inventory
Industry leading, 40 year old Buffalo Area Manufacturing Company seeks candidate for Receiver position.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure that the various production departments have the parts and products they need to assemble their games.
- Receive parts from carriers (UPS, Fed Ex).
- Enter these parts into the inventory system
- Assuring no damage to items received
- Cooperate and assist teammates with similar duties
Requirements
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Must be organized, proactive, have attention to details, and ability to multitask.
- Possess customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Possess strong sense of urgency
- Must have flexibility with ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Working knowledge and experience operating Windows based software
Preferred Educational and Experience:
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Basic Excel proficiency.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and working on a computer.
- Working in a manufacturing setting with machinery and equipment.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at times.
- Able to bend, stretch, reach, push and pull parts and products. Ex: use of pallet jack and carts
