Epic Beaker Analyst

Title: Senior Analyst, Epic Beaker

Location: Hybrid – 3 Days in Office (based in NYC)

Duration: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic Beaker

Interprets end-user requirements by fully discussing potential options and helping clients move toward the optimal solution

Develop and document the workflows that will be used in conjunction with Beaker and design, build, test, install, and maintain those solutions

Prioritize and implement system change requests; coordinate software updates and change enhancements with end-users

Implement, support, and maintain related third-party systems

Strong project management skills (lead meetings, prioritize, resolve conflicts, maintain issues log, manage a project plan)

Establish and maintain relationships with both IT and Operational leaders

Troubleshoot problems and address questions from users, and provide on-call support on a rotating basis

Provide on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades

Provide 24x7 on-call coverage for support on a rotating basis

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree

Current Epic certification in Beaker Clinical Pathology and Anatomic Pathology

5 years of EPIC analyst build, IT implementation, and/or support experience

Experience with LIS and/or the pathology industry, including clinical laboratories, microbiology, surgical pathology, cytology, and blood bank

Driven to expand on current healthcare IT knowledge and expertise

Good oral, written, and non-verbal communication skills; ability to forge and maintain strong professional relationships

Strong experience in documenting workflows and providing various solutions to meet user needs

Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and pragmatic; a great team player who is analytical and solution-focused

Proficiency with MS Office

Successful candidates will be required to obtain/maintain Epic Certification(s) essential to their function

Flexibility to work an expanded work schedule, including early mornings, nights & possibly weekends during major implementation and support efforts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
