Job Overview
As a Security Officer, you will play an important role in creating a safe and secure environment for our employees and guests. Your ability to advocate company procedures paired with your gift for problem solving will both contribute to a safe, secure and comfortable workplace.
As a Security Officer, you will:
- Perform security walks throughout the hotel property and grounds, both inside and outside.
- Know hotel emergency procedures and how to assist employees and guests when necessary.
- Maintain key control procedures.
- Ensure communication ability with the Front Desk is maintained at all times.
- Ensure logs are filled out with detail.
- Assist all guests with a warm, hospitable demeanor.
- Support the goals of the hotel through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you need strong verbal and written communication skills. You must be able to read, write, type and use hotel communication devices. This position requires you to stand and move around for an entire shift. You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds. Previous customer service experience is a plus.
