Location: Hybrid work schedule: required to be in the downtown Minneapolis office every Tuesday and Wednesday.
Overview: The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, while representing the needs of the team. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting customers, assisting with their accounts receivable activity. This position will review sales order forms, invoicing and payment history, automatic payment portal configurations and internal support cases to answer customer inquiries.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with accounts receivable activity inquiries;
- Manage inbound call queues and emailed support cases;
- Enroll customers in automatic payment portal processing and one-time payments;
- Review sales order forms, billing and payment history, and internal support cases;
- Update customer demographic changes and invoice delivery methods;
- Deliver ACH enrollment and W-9 forms per customer request;
- Troubleshoot issues, escalate where needed, and follow up promptly to ensure client expectations are exceeded;
- Advocate customer needs/issues cross-departmentally;
- Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures and mission statement;
- Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
- Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;
- Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and

Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office Suite;
- Minimum of 1 year of experience of call center experience;
- Prefer experience with Great Plains and Salesforce;
- Prefer accounts receivable experience; and
- Prefer collections experience.
Education:
- Associates Degree in accounting, finance or business administration or equivalent experience required
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);
- Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
- Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
- Subject to inside environmental conditions
