About the role:
Working with at our client, the Copywriter creates powerful and impactful copy for a range of materials, printed collateral, web pages, email campaigns, social media, presentations, advertising, marketing and sales collateral. The focus of the role for the first six months is EMAIL. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the emails for this credit card company are effective and performing well and on brand.
Reporting to the Account Director, the Copywriter sits within a small team of three that are jointly integrated within our client’s operational structure, as well as being part of the wider Inside Ideas business.
This role will work remotely for 2021 and then move back to the client's offices in Delaware 2022.
What you will be doing:
- Produce original copy for emails. Later on working on brochures, leaflets, flyers, newsletters, websites and microsites, banners, eDM, invites, social media, direct mail, tenders, presentations, advertising, marketing and sales collateral
- Brainstorm visual and copy ideas with the designer
- Work closely with the team to deliver all copy to ensure consistency and accuracy across all messaging to the agreed briefs and established brand values
- Follow and help build a tone of voice consistent to the client throughout all copy and proactively make recommendations for the direction of client projects
- Undertake research and develop an understanding of the client’s target audience and competitor products
- Form close relationships with the product team in order to source product information and unique selling points of products
- Use briefs to create original on-brand copy across a variety of channels to a high standard, sticking to tight deadlines
- Work in a small team to execute on briefs and raise the bar on the email performance
