Charge Nurse

Schedule: 4x10 shift on call- 6 week scheduling period, you would be on call 10-12 days out of the 42 days.

Pay: 36-50- based on calculations from HR

Overview:

Insight Global is hiring for a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Charge Nurse to join their organization in their Davenport, FL location. This Charge Nurse will be responsible for ensuring all nursing functions within the department are running smoothly and efficiently. They will also be providing guidance and support to help staff through any difficult situations that arise. They will be patient facing alongside their team and will be overseeing the daily operations of their unit and staff. There is typically a three-man team consisting of Registered Nurses and Rad Techs at any time, plus their on-call team consisting of 3-4 team members as well.

Must Haves:

• Current State of Florida RN license
• BLS or ACLS certification
• 1 years of cath lab or interventional radiology experience

Plusses:

• EPIC EMR experience

Day to Day:

• Coordinating daily administrative duties, including schedules, nursing assignments and patient care.
• Supervising nursing staff and overseeing their needs.
• Handling paperwork, like consent forms, and filing documents with patient records.
• Preparing for operations, which might require sterilization of the space and shaving the patient at the catheter insertion site.
• Monitoring patient vitals and sedation during and after operations to make sure patients don't have unexpected reactions.
• Sharing discharge paperwork and care instructions with patients or their families.
• Revising patient charts to add information about their procedure.

Pay: $36.00 - $50.00 per hour
