What are the responsibilities and job description for the Check Deposit Processor position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for a Check Deposit Processor to join one of their Financial Services/Wealth Management client's Money Desk Processing team. The Money Desk team is a back-office operations team, and they are responsible for monitoring all the check deposits coming in that need to be credited to the client accounts and monitoring all the outgoing checks as well. This individual specifically will help support the check functions, check for accuracy, and help process the work. Their day-to-day responsibilities will include the mail opening and sorting of the checks, monitoring the Money Desk drop off window, delivering the check deposits between the Money Desk and the Imaging Center (2 different floors in the building), reviewing retained paperwork and checking for accuracy, and occasionally boxing paperwork to send to the warehouse. This is a contract position, but the goal is to eventually bring this person onto the team permanently if performance is aligned with their expectations. Once a permanent employee, they will be able to credit money into client accounts and deal with more sensitive information. There is a growth opportunity into other departments of the bank, such as corporate actions, custody, tax reporting, etc.
The team is fully onsite in Jersey City 5 days a week.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
