What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Estimator position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is seeking an Estimator to join a full-service Engineering Consulting company located in Plainville CT, Groton CT, or Providence RI. The ideal candidate will be on-site 5 days a week and hold a Bachelors in Civil Engineering or equivalent. This person should have 8 years of experience on projects. The Estimator is responsible for the accurate takeoff and pricing of the work, including all direct and indirect costs for heavy/civil/roadway/projects with values from $5 million to $200 million.
Required Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of site excavation and utility construction, materials and methods.
- Experience working with subcontractors
- Experience with scheduling and planning.
- Construction project experience, roadways, culvert, bridge, highways.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- HCSS Heavy Bid experience - DOT Experience
Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
