Salary range: $95,000-105,000 (PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU FIT THIS RANGE)

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration with an emphasis in accounting, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in field
• Previous experience as an accountant, accounting supervisor, or manager
• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; Access, database, Great Plains (GP) or other system knowledge
• Proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation
• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost accounting and cost control principles, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and state/national regulations
• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations
• Attention to detail
• Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members
PLUSSES:
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) license
SUMMARY:
The Controller is a role that involves a combination of tasks from accounting, finance, as well as treasure-related functions. The individual will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, analyzing data to inform strategic decisions, and contributing to the company’s overall financial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prepares financial statements to summarize and forecast the company’s financial status
• Produces and manages balance sheets and analyze future earnings and expenses
• Management of accounting, auditing, and budgeting within the organization
• Assists with preparation of audits
• Works to reconcile accounting inaccuracies or imbalances
• Ensures compliance with and prepare reports according to applicable government regulations
• Uses accounting software to maintain records and prepare reports
• Coordinates with and prepares reports for executive team
• Assist in evaluating the financial impact of business initiatives and investments and contribute to long-term financial planning and growth strategies
• Develop and maintain internal control systems to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting
• Develop and implement strategies to improve financial operations’ overall efficiency and effectiveness
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
