Must Haves:
- 7-10 years of experience specifically with Delta V systems, including batch programming, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of MES integration (experience with specific MES platforms is a plus).
- Proven ability to write clear and concise design documents.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Self-starter who can work independently and drive projects forward.
- Note: This role does not involve project management responsibilities.
Day to Day:
- Serve as the primary Delta V batch person within the organization, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Delta V control systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and translate them into Delta V programming logic.
- Integrate Delta V systems with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to ensure seamless data flow and process control.
- Create detailed design documents, including functional specifications, configuration details, and test plans.
- Scope out project areas and durations for the initial 6 months, identifying critical milestones and resource requirements.
- Work closely with other teams (e.g., engineering, quality, production) to ensure successful project execution.
- Communicate effectively and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues and stakeholders.
