JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a DIMP (Distribution Integrity Management Program) Compliance Specialist to join the team with a large utility company in the DC area. This person will be responsible for leading and maintaining the implementation and execution of asset management compliance activities, including updating and maintaining the DIMP manual. Other responsibilities are as follows:
- Maintains the DOT 192 Subpart P mandated distribution pipeline integrity management plan
- Ensures all compliance related activities are being tracked, measured, documented and conducted in accordance with the DIMP Plan and applicable regulations.
- Plays a lead role in internal audits and commission inspections of the DIMP and manages development and implementation of corrective actions and preventive strategies.
- Develops reports and position papers for distribution asset management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in engineering - Mechanical, Chemical, Civil preferred
3 years of experience in natural gas industry - ideally with 2 years of experience specifically within integrity management
Strong communication skills
Working knowledge of DOT CFR 49 Part 192
