Responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly.
- Perform basic machining tasks such as drilling, tapping, and deburring.
- Use calipers and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Test and troubleshoot assembled electronic components to ensure proper functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical aptitude, ability to put components and assemblies together
- Experience in electronic assembly or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Familiarity with calipers and other measuring instruments for precision work.
- Detail-oriented with excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
