Job Description: Financial Controller

Position Overview: As a Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our construction company. Your expertise in accounting and financial management will contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for the construction projects
• Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure accurate cost tracking and project profitability
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare financial reports for senior management and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
