What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Controls Analyst position at Insight Global?
Insight Global is looking for an Internal Control Analyst for a 6 month contract opportunity with one of its manufacturing clients. The Internal Control Analyst will assist the Internal Control Director with establishing the Internal Control function, develop and drive the annual Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) self-assessment program towards completion, support/drive any corrective actions towards closure, and support the organization with internal control and corporate governance policies and procedures. This role is targeting an hourly pay rate between $40-$50. Below are key responsibilities for this role.
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to improve internal control and reduce company risk
- Drive the completion of the annual SoX self-assessment program
- Support Internal/External Audits
- Support the teams with corrective action development to any control deficiencies and drive towards closure.
- Assist with developing internal control and corporate governance policies and procedures throughout the organization.
- Understanding of internal control standards, COSO and risk assessment practices.
- Understanding of the technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting.
Rate: $40-$45/hr
Details: 6 month contract to hire
