Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer for one of our largest clients in Cleveland, OH. This individual will be responsible for performing technical tasks to support both the Delivery Engineering teams and multiple development teams to implement a common continuous development, build and deploy process. The team owns the deployment pipeline for code and configurations, and the Lead DevOps Engineer will take part in owning the Source Control Management Platform, Package Management, and Containerization to get all code out to production. They will be working with various teams, heading up continuous integration and delivery efforts to engrain DevOps capabilities. This will be a Technical Lead role, therefore the ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and will have previous experience serving as a mentor to more junior engineers.
* Master's degree in IT related field
* Ansible experience
* Experience with Github Actions
* Bachelor's degree in an IT related field
* 8 years of overall IT experience, 7 years specifically within the DevOps space
* Experience using Github and Jenkins for source control management
* Experience with build tools such as Gradle and/or Maven
* Experience using Artifactory for package management
* Heavy containerization experience using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
* Previous experience in a Technical Lead role
* Heavy experience with scripting tools (Bash, Groovy, Python)
