What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marine Engineer position at Insight Global?
***MUST be able to relocate to Marinette, WI***
***THIS is a 3 year contract role***
***Pay range $42/hr to $50/hr***
Must Haves:
- Marine engineering experience—working on military ships or large commercial vessels
- 2-5 years of experience working with piping systems on ships
- The capacity of the work needs to be designing & modeling piping systems!
- 2-5 years working on ECNs- Engineering Change Notices
- Making, approving and recording design changes throughout the prototyping and lifecycle phases
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Excel
- Associate degree preferred or GED 13 years of experience
Plusses:
- ShipConstructor or Navis software experience
Day to day:
- Working on ECNs
- Updating and finalizing drawings made to piping systems within the vessel
- Review and sign off on any changes to the 2D or 3D models of pipe components
- Suggesting and making changes to models based on ECNs
Salary : $42 - $50
