Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for a healthcare client of ours based in Rockville Centre, NY. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting healthcare providers and ensuring smooth operations in clinical settings.
Your responsibilities will span both administrative tasks and patient care duties. The duties include checking patients in, verifying patient information, taking and monitoring vitals, assisting during examinations, and documentation as needed.
Skills and Requirements
2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program with valid diploma
Strong understanding of medical terminology
Strong understanding and experience using EMR systems - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
Experience working with older patient populations null
