Day to Day:
An employer is looking for a Communications Network Engineer to join the team in Pearl Harbor, HI. The duties will include evaluating communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshooting Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network-related problems. Additional duties include administering LAN/BAN/WANs, scheduling conversions and cutovers, and coordinating with all responsible users and sites. Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and test of complex large-scale computer integrated networks. This role will be building into a senior position on the team.
Must Haves:
- ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
- Active CCNA Certification and CompTIA Sec CE
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field of study
- 5 Years with WAN/LAN/BAN administration support
- 5 years integrating networks in a large-scale environment
- Experience implementing new network solutions and improving the efficiency of current network solutions.
