Must-haves
- Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN degree or equivalent experience and current state RN licensure.
- Must have and maintain at all times a current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS).
- Circulating Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit experience required.
- Supervisory experience in a team leader role.
- Ability to effectively communicate with all members of staff both verbal and written.
- Ability to promote good public relations with patients and caregivers.
Day-to-day:
The Nurse Manager will work closely and partner with the Physician, Practice Manager and Director of Nursing in the performance and delegation of nursing duties to provide the best nursing care possible to the surgical patients. In addition to assisting with the care of surgical patients, the Nurse Manager will be responsible for supervising the provision of quality nursing care given at the practice. He/she will be responsible for maintaining the quality and adequacy of nursing practice, coordinating nursing and training programs, and recognizing and assisting in solving problems within established policies and practices.
Schedule: Day shift, Monday to Friday
