What are the responsibilities and job description for the PC Tester position at Insight Global?
JOB DESCRIPTION
An employer is looking for a PC Tester for one of their premier technology clients in Houston, TX. This person will be part of a Thin Client testing team in a lab environment. He or she will be utilizing test plans to test the Thin Clients functionality and recording the defects. He or she will also be involved in evaluating new software or technologies and analysis on competitor's products. This team takes a lot of ad hoc requests so this person needs to be flexible and willing to take on new challenges daily. This person will be expected to work in a lab onsite at the Spring, TX campus daily.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Good technical knowledge of Windows and Windows software
Good problem-solving skills
Good communication skills
Prior testing experience or PC troubleshooting experience
Fully Vaccinated and willing to work onsite daily
DESIRED SKILLS
Experience working with internal HP systems (Sudden Impact, DASH, Pulsar, etc.)
Experience working with teams using Jira and Azure DevOps
Linux knowledge/experience
Automation knowledge/experience
Any Certifications for Citrix, VMware, Microsoft AVD, Windows 365, Amazon Cloud, Google Cloud
