Hours: 8-5 (with an hour lunch)

DURATION: 6-month contract to hire

Must Haves:

• Minimum experience is 3-4 years in a Business Intelligence role
• Proven Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Analytics Space
• Strong Power BI reporting experience
• MS SQL Development experience
• Experience with building data models/sets
• Experience with DAX
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong experience building large performant code
• The ability to build high quality data analytical reports

Plusses:

• Experience in an agile environment
• Manufacturing company experience

Day to Day:

Our Fortune 500 client in the Pittsburgh Area is seeking a talented Business Intelligence Analyst to join their IT team. Good candidates will have experience with building data models/sets, DAX, moderate SQL development (can build performant procedures, tables, queries, and debug code), and strong experience in building Power BI reports. Candidates will be active members of project teams across different sector's of the businesses aerospace division, and will need to be capable of working with key non-technical stakeholders to build report requirements and test plans. A qualified candidate will need to have strong ability to build both front and back end for these reports. The working environment does favor the Microsoft platforms for DA so Azure, Power BI, MS SQL tools as well as the use of Azure DevOps for work management and GIT source code repositories, candidate familiarity with these tools will be a plus as this presents less ramp up time.

Compensation:

$47/hr to $55/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
