What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager position at Insight Global?
A partner of Insight Global is looking for Product Introduction Project Manager. This person will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, by defining the project’s objectives, overseeing quality assurance through its life cycle, acquiring resources, and coordinating team member efforts. They will define project scopes, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, and plan/schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. This person will also be responsible for coaching and supervising project team members, identifying and resolving issues within the team, conducting project postmortems, and creating closure memos in order to identify lessons learned. Types of projects in this role will include technical transfers, new product introductions, and significant improvement projects having significant regulatory impact.
Must Haves:
- BA/BS with 7 years’ experience OR Master’s Degree with 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated experience in a project management capacity
- Proficiency with MS Project
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically dealing with APIs, injectables and/or non-sterile liquids/semi-solid pharmaceuticals
