Responsibilities

- Rehabilitation: Design and implement rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, strength, and flexibility. Guide athletes through exercises and therapies.
- Injury Prevention: Collaborate with coaches and trainers to develop injury prevention strategies. Assess risk factors and create conditioning programs.
- Treatment Techniques: Utilize various techniques, including massages, stretches, and electrotherapy, to reduce pain and enhance recovery.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other medical professionals to ensure comprehensive care for athletes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.
PTA Description:

As a Sports PTA, you’ll work closely with athletes, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to provide top-notch care and rehabilitation services. Your expertise will help athletes prevent and recover from injuries, optimize their performance, and enhance overall wellness.
Responsibilities
- Assessment and Monitoring: Measure strength, range of motion, and progress during recovery. Supervise athletes performing mobility and strengthening exercises.
- Hands-On Therapy: Administer hands-on therapy techniques such as stretching and massage to aid in recovery.
- Collaboration: Work with physical therapists, athletic trainers, and sports medicine physicians to design specialized exercise programs and injury prevention strategies tailored to athletes’ needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans.
Other Important Information:
- Facility Hours are 7am-8pm – Open to any 8 hours between those times. Ideally candidate will mix in morning and evening shifts throughout the week.
- 12-88 age group – most of the patients are aged 25-45. Not exclusively sports oriented - they Take a sports medicine approach vs a hospital setting.
- 14 patient caseload per day on average. Once they exceed 72 per week, every patient visit over they get an additional $50 per visit and can stack up multiple bonuses paid out Monthly.
$35 to $60 per hour based on annual salary.
