What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Tester position at Insight Global?
MUST:
5-7 years of qa experience (ideally in database testing)
Strong hands-on SQL testing skills (can do joins, writing test scripts, test cases)
Strong written and verbal communication
PLUS:
ETL
ALM
Jira (team will start using JIRA in the next 12-18 months for incident tracking)
Finance experience
Experience testing and working with reconciliations
D2D:
Insight Global is looking for a QA Tester to join one of their major financial clients. This person will be working within a finance organization to test to make sure the reconciled data in the general ledger matches their data in the systems of record (SOR). This person must have strong hands on experience with SQL as well as SQL testing to be successful in this role. This person will be working with the business teams to gather requirements, working with the technical teams for performance issues, as well as coming up with test cases. This team currently uses HP ALM for testing, so experience with that tool would be beneficial, but not necessary.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour
