JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include:
- Derive and build financial models based on internal departments and client requests to develop and improve business strategies
- Develop cost analysis for new and existing clients to demonstrate the savings opportunities available
- Analyze savings from network discounts, rebates, formulary, and benefit design to determine client savings and risk to company
- Understand benefit designs and adjust analyses as necessary based on clients’ customized plans
- Effectively communicate complex pharmacy benefit claims processing issues, challenges and occurrences to both internal and external clients
- Analyze claim development, trend and anomalies in utilization for insurance clients
- Create and build financial reporting as required by government entities for insurance clients
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
1-3 years experience as a Financial Analyst
Prefer Healthcare Insurance or Pharmacy Benefit Management industry experience
Expert in Excel - V Lookups & Pivot Tables
Intermediate in SQL - Extraditing data sets from SQL and moving into excel
DESIRED SKILLS
