JOB DESCRIPTION
Leveraging strategic sourcing best practices, this role supports Kohler's and Facilities Management teams with analytics, industry insights, category strategies, vendor management and facilitation of competitive bids. The ultimate responsibility is to secure the best-in-class facilities partners and solutions at competitive rates to maximize value. This is a critical aspect of the Kohler business, ensuring world class procurement support on key facilities and construction initiatives. They will partner with Facilities leaders to determine the best portfolio strategy to support Kohler's growth and cost-containment requirements, execute competitive bids, and secure the right suppliers/contractors and solutions to deliver the desired results.
Key Performance Areas:
- Strategic Sourcing, RFP Facilitation, and Negotiation- Everyday execution requires confidence, heightened curiosity to dig deep into the business, action-orientation, and effective communication and project management skills
- Contracting and Risk Mitigation - This role acts a liaison across multiple parties to uphold the standards and policies of the company and protect the company from risk.
- Category Strategy Development - Effective category strategy development is the key to delivering breakthrough results for the business. Through a proven method of gathering pertinent information, this role will partner closely with the business to determine the approach and align on recommendations.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field
- 2 years of strategic sourcing
- 4 years of professional experience related to Procurement, carrying out key activities such as supplier selection/management, negotiation, managing PO's and service agreements, contract negotiation, collaboration with different teams and stakeholders
- Experience with Indirect purchasing vs Direct purchasing
- Ability to conduct RFPs independently and research, negotiate, and optimize contracts for cost savings
DESIRED SKILLS
- Facilities procurement experience
- SAP experience
- Having experience in 3 of the key procurement areas underlined above
