A large utility company sitting in Anaheim, CA is looking to hire a hybrid Threat and Risk Engineer to join the Gas Engineering and System Integrity division. This position will require going into their office location 3 days a week, and working remotely two days a week. This individual should be an expert on the threats that internal corrosion have on pipelines system wide. And has the ability to perform Threat Evaluation and Risk Assessment of mature and complex Transmission Pipelines, Storage, Facilities and Gas Distribution Assets by applying engineering risk assessment principles toward increasingly integrated, data-driven, and quantified safety and reliability.
The primary purpose of this role is to provide increasingly integrated, data-driven and quantified safety and reliability assessments covering generally one to three Integrity Management Program assets such as Transmission Pipeline Integrity Management Program (TIMP), Storage Integrity Program (SIMP), Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP) or Risk Assessment and Facilities Integrity Management Program (FIMP).
Must haves:
- 8 years of engineering experience, including 4 years related to risk or reliability or threat evaluation
- Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field
- Strong knowledge of internal corrosion on pipelines
Plusses:
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Mathematics
- Experience of Integrity management an/or risk engineering
- PE or EIT license
Compensation:
$122,500 - $178,000
