A FinTech client in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team. This role is a permanent direct hire role. This team is looking for someone who can provide strategic evaluation and guidance for the design, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of all compute, storage, and backup environments. Additionally, the Senior Systems Engineer will give recommendations and strategies in projects related to system implementations, upgrades, and migrations involving multiple teams. Some travel will be involved with this role including travel to Las Vegas and quarterly team meetings in Portland, OR
Desired Skills
- 5 years of experience a Systems Engineer specifically supporting Windows Servers and Exchange/M365 within the FinTech or FinOps industry
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-level infrastructure technologies, including virtualization, storage, and networking.
- Hand-on experience implementing solutions that support High Availability, Data Center Resiliency, and Business Continuity.
- Working knowledge of Cohesity, PureStorage, VMware ESXi, LogicMonitor, Ivanti Service Manager.
- Experience supporting Azure environments
- Demonstrated ability leading complex IT projects from conception to completion
- Comfortability with communicating to all levels of peers and cross-functional team members
- Ability and desire to mentor junior team members

- Certifications such as MCSE, VCP, or CompTIA Security
