Job Description:
As a UT Technician Level 2, you will perform non-destructive testing using ultrasonic equipment to detect and analyze flaws, defects, or irregularities in materials. You will follow the established procedures and standards to ensure the quality and integrity of our steel poles and structures. You will also document and report the results of the testing and communicate with other team members and supervisors.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Utilize UT equipment to inspect materials for defects, cracks, or other anomalies.
-Follow established testing procedures and protocols to ensure accurate and reliable results.
-Record and interpret ultrasonic test data to identify potential issues.
-Maintain and calibrate ultrasonic testing equipment to ensure accurate measurements and reliable performance.
-Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine inspections.
-Prepare detailed reports documenting testing procedures, results, and recommendations.
-Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing activities.
-Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
-Identify and address potential safety hazards associated with testing processes.
-Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders, including engineers, project managers, and clients.
-Collaborate with team members to coordinate testing activities and share insights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
