Research Manager

Insight Therapeutics, LCC a CommuniCare Family of Companies is focused on advancing the care of older adults through research and strategic consulting. We collaborate with academia and industry to answer strategic questions through clinical trials to produce real world evidence. Our goal is to advance high quality and safe care for older adults, where they live.  Due to growth, Insight Therapeutics, LLC is looking for a Research Manager. 

The Research Manager focuses on planning and implementation as well as the management of  clinical trials and the research team to ensure projects are delivered as defined by contract deliverables and customer expectations. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Communication and coordinating study activities with the principal investigator, any sub- investigators, and the Insight Management Team.
• Provide day-to-day oversight, coaching, development, and management of research staff on research methods and procedures, study protocols, regulatory compliance, and communication strategies. 
• Identify and incorporate best practices and lessons learned into organizational planning, training, evaluation, and reporting. 
• Guide maintenance of study protocols, IRB submissions, case report forms, and other study-specific documents 
• Ensure the International Conference on Harmonization and Good Clinical Practice procedures are followed in all study aspects. 
• Monitor clinical trial activity through all study phases. 
• Create timelines for each project. Use contract timelines to track and manage a project’s progress. 

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE/ SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical research experience directing project teams or departments 
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in medically related field 
• Ability to work in (Hybrid) environment. 
• Ability to travel @10% 
• SCRUM certification preferred. 
• Work closely with company leaders to operationalize new clinical trial contracts.
