Job Description:
The Director, is a key member of leadership team, playing a role in building the brand as a market leader setting the pace within the private equity performance improvement sector. This critical role will develop and own relationships with leading private equity firms and their portfolio company leadership teams and take an immediate position as an important thought leader externally as well as inside the firm.

Responsibilities
Project Execution: Strong understanding of the firm’s consulting playbook, software platform, methodologies in pricing and profitability improvement practices resulting in oversight of engagements with private equity companies. A thought leader in the firm.
Serve as a key advisor. Identify and direct enterprise-wide strategy projects and oversee execution of deliverables related to Pricing Strategy and Commercial Excellence.
Develop and execute client roadmaps.
Ensure clients are seeing value in software subscriptions; provide options for additional consulting support for clients to ensure the greatest success in implementation.
Contribute to setting, communicating, and executing company strategic direction.
Pricing Analytics: Ability to manipulate, trend and understand data to clearly articulate strategies and opportunities for clients Demonstrated capabilities using tools such as Excel, Access, Power Pivots to deliver project analysis.
Define and implement competitive pricing strategies based on business and financial objectives, market/competitive analyses, and pricing capabilities.
Participate in business development for external clients in Pricing and Commercial Strategy.
Client Engagement: Excellence in execution and thought leadership, establish strong peer to peer relationships with client leadership teams, private equity operation groups, and investment teams.
Lead cross functional teams in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps, manage key engagement interviews and research, and facilitate workshops, while advising and earning the title of trusted advisor.
Build relationships with executive decision makers within client businesses.
Team Engagement: Engage in performance management and development reviews, coaching and leadership development.
Act as the primary team interface with various levels of executives and lead the presentation of final deliverables.
Participate in professional development of team members and assist with recruiting and training new staff.
Be a role model of our culture and core values internally and externally.
Qualifications
Education:
Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field or commensurate work experience.
Experience:
6 years of related work experience in B2B manufacturing and/or distribution industries with significant experience within a leading consulting firm focusing on value creation and performance improvement.
Experience driving multiple pricing projects independently for a duration of 6 months, bringing deep expertise into the industry sector.
Successful history of leading Pricing projects across comprehensive pricing stages: diagnostics, pricing strategy development, implementation, and enablement.
Credibility as a leader in a matrix environment where the ability to influence is critical. Proven ability to motivate high performers to operate with excellence.
Demonstrated ability to provide solution-driven initiatives and lead change.
Interaction with clients around engaging with SaaS technology.
Skills/Abilities:
Engages executive level leaders in decision making around critical organization investments.
Sets and implements organizational strategic direction and initiatives.
Analytical skills utilizing advanced analytical techniques with a strong hypothesis driven approach and execution skills.
Effective use of data analysis to link financial results to performance drivers. Explores both the depth and breadth of the data and makes sound recommendations.
Understanding that “how” results are achieved is equally important to “what” gets accomplished.
Travel: 30% on average, may be up to 50%
