What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Engineer II position at Insightly?

You will play a key role being the voice of the customer on our engineering team. You will work closely with the customer support team and the engineering teams to triage and reproduce the issues faced by our customer and follow its full lifecycle until it is fixed and deployed to production. We seek an assertive individual with demonstrated Senior QA skills, leadership experience, and passion to be the voice of the customer.
Responsibilities
- Work with the development team in an agile environment to test new and existing features.
- Design, write and execute test plans for new product features.
- Work as a liaison between Customer Support and Engineering Teams.
- Work closely the QA automation team to support automation efforts.
- Plan and design effective and elegant QA processes and metrics to support a rapidly growing codebase and products.
- Work with Customer support to answer engineering/product related questions, to reproduce customer issue, report bugs, verify bug fixes, etc.
- Collaborate and work with our small knit engineering team in an Agile environment.
Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in delivering Cloud, Web and/or mobile applications.
- Senior experience using tools that facilitate QA of large, high volume SaaS applications.
- Experience with large-scale software deployments preferred.
- Knowledge of Databases, particularly MS SQL Server preferred.
- Strong communication skills and experience using Agile development methodologies.
- Understanding and working experience of Agile/Scrum methodology is required. Jira experience preferred.
- Demonstrable experience in being the voice of the customer and making them successful.

The salary range for this role in Colorado is $90,000 to $120,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications.
