Position Overview:

The Sales Proposal & Prospect Manager (Inside Sales) will play a pivotal role in driving our sales

efforts by managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process and supporting sales prospecting

activities. Your primary focus will be on leveraging your expertise in SaaS (Software as a Service)

sales to effectively manage RFP/RFI/RFQ/Bid proposals and using sourcing tools to find sales

prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

RFP Management:

As part of the Global Bid Response team, you will lead and oversee the end-to-end RFP process for the Americas market, collaborating with cross-functional teams internally to gather necessary information and create compelling, tailored proposals.

Craft and customize professional proposal content, ensuring alignment with client needs and highlighting the unique value proposition of our digital examination, online proctoring, and plagiarism & AI detection ecosystem solutions.

Coordinate proposal timelines, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to quality standards.

Build the Americas bid response data base, to allow Inspera to increase velocity and win percentages through the reuse of the created data base.

Sales Prospecting Support:

Utilize HubSpot, GovSpend and ZoomInfo to identify and qualify potential leads, providing essential data and insights to the sales team for effective outreach.

Track expiring contracts at all public institutions & agencies.

Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop targeted prospecting strategies, contributing to the expansion of our client base.

Assist in developing and refining sales pitches and materials to effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to potential clients.

Manage the pre-qualification process for Federal & State ed tech compliance.

Sales Prospect Process Optimization:

Continuously analyze and optimize the RFP process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Co-manage the RFP response database and updates.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate feedback and enhance the effectiveness of sales proposals and prospecting techniques.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Literature, or a related field.

Strong familiarity with RFP processes and proposal development within the educational technology, higher education, or software industry.

Proven track record in supporting a successful SaaS sales or related software sales process, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in inside sales or proposal management.

Proficiency in using CRM tools such as HubSpot and data platforms like ZoomInfo for prospecting and lead generation.

Clearly demonstratable coherent writing style.

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling proposals and engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Highly organized with excellent time management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
