Our global tire manufacturing client has developed one of the world’s most advanced medium/heavy truck tire manufacturing facilities, with a current production capacity of more than one million tires per year… with expansion plans. The company is committed to supplying the US market with high-quality tires that deliver a low total cost of ownership for trucking fleets and owner-operators.
While the company is new to the US, they have a proven track record in the global tire industry and currently supplies bicycle and automotive tires to more than 70 countries through the committed efforts of its 4,000 employees.
As the Bookkeeper, you will maintain accurate and timely accounting reports to HQ, communicate invoicing and statements for customers, keep management updated on receivables and payables, and interface with the US-based accounting firm.
To thrive, you should have:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 2-4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced level of knowledge and use of the Microsoft Office suite
- Experience in Quick Books Enterprise accounting system
Your responsibilities as the Bookkeeper will include:
- Make timely entries into the company accounting software system
- Issue invoices and monthly statements to customers
- Enter customer checks into the company’s online bank account
- Provide updated status of account receivables
- Provide weekly analysis of payables and cash flow needs to cover the operational requirements
- Create additional reports and analyses as requested by management
