What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, PM&R position at Inspira Health Network?
MAJOR FUNCTION:
Plans, organizes, supervises, and directs the operations of the Rehabilitation Services Department consisting of Occupational, Physical and Speech Therapy. In addition to the duties described for the licensed physical therapist, the Rehabilitation Services Manager assists in the training and evaluation of staff, counsels Rehabilitation Services staff for conduct that is in violation of Department/Hospital policy, and assumes the major duties and responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Rehabilitation Services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
Graduate from a program in physical therapy or occupational therapy, which has been accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Holds one of the following degrees: BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy.
Experience:
5 yrs exp as a Therapist; 2 yrs exp in a lead or supervisory role.
Certification/Licensure:
Must maintain current licensure in the State of NJ to practice Physical or Occupational Therapy. Current BLS (American Heart
Association) required.
