Downtown Denver-based luxury vacation company is expanding our business into all aspects of luxury travel, including hotels, air travel, cruises, and tours. We are seeking an Air Specialist who will be responsible for booking and servicing air reservations for our membership as well as administrative tasks to support the Air Desk and Inspirato Travel Services (ITS).
The ideal candidate will be highly organized with strong attention to detail and a positive team mentality. Must be eager to help, a quick study and a clear communicator. Experience with Sabre, Salesforce.com and Office Suite is desirable. This is a specialist position and requires past experience with air and/or hotel reservations.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide full-service air reservations to IN Members through member facing processes and procedures
  • Follow-through with the air booking process including and not limited to fare research, destination/airport research, air proposals, booking tickets-domestic and international, ticketing, invoicing, changes and cancellations
  • Pro-actively reaches out to both airlines and members to ensure they are receiving the lowest fare & best rate
  • Manage member request from initial inquiry to client departure and follow up
  • Remain informed of all airline rules and regulations and current affairs
  • Meet ticketing and quote deadlines
  • Maintain and promote professional and courteous client relations by managing a prompt and accurate response to telephone and email communications.
  • Pro-actively undergoes continuous training and education related to travel specialty
  • Work in a team environment to provide excellent customer service skills for both internal customers and IN Members
Required Skills: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Airfare Specialty - Mastery of Sabre and/or Sabre Red for booking purposes; clear understanding of airline terminology, codes, fare basis, airline rules and tariffs, resource guides, books, and industry contacts.
  • Problem Solving – Solve problems in a timely manner; gather and analyze information skillfully and efficiently; and work well in group problem solving situations.
  • Time Management – Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, able to multi-task, prioritize and consistently meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Initiative – Have the willingness and self-motivation to take on new projects and identify and propose new ideas and changes.
  • Adaptability – Able to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage competing demands; change approach or method to best fit the situation; appreciate opportunities to adjust and adapt with growing business; eager to improve existing processes.
Compensation - $40,000 - $50,000 Base Salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
Equity - This position is eligible for the company's equity plan.
Bonus – This position is eligible for the company’s bonus plan, to the extent offered, at a target bonus percentage of up to 10% of your annual salary.
Benefits – This position is eligible for a health and welfare benefits package including medical, dental & vision insurance.
FAM Trip – This Position is eligible for the Employee Familiarization Travel Program following three (3) consecutive months of employment. This program provides you up to one seven (7) day reservation in an eligible Inspirato property per your employment calendar year – subject to seasonal property demands and the company Employee Familiarization Travel Program Terms and Conditions.
