Job Description
Inspired Flight is looking for a self-motivated Accountant to join our finance team. In this role, you’ll play an important part in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law. This person will help make financial decisions by collecting, tracking, correcting, and communicating the financial position of the company.

This role will work in close collaboration with all departments and will report directly to the Finance Manager, making this a prime opportunity for someone who thrives in a startup environment.

Typical responsibilities:

• Communicate with customers and vendors to fulfill Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
• Provide financial reporting insights to Executive Leadership & provide data for quarterly Board of Directors Meetings
• Manage Payroll on a Bi-Monthly Basis
• Manage all financial statements
• Oversee invoices for sales orders and generate sales reports every month
• Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure proper accounting of expenses
• Enter and code bills into the Accounting System and store electronic invoice and expense records
• Compile and prioritize weekly payments for approval
• Gather ACH payment information from vendors and contractors and prepare electronic payments
• Manage corporate credit card expense platform and employee expense reimbursement platform
• Month-end review, reconciliation of accounts, and close of the books
• Manage and update Financial Models
• Annual sales tax filing and 1099 filing

You’ll excel in this role if:

• You have expert-level knowledge and understanding of Accounting Software & other ERP systems
• Your Excel skills are advanced and have great written communication
• You have experience in accounting with a manufacturing company
• You have experience conducting internal or external audits
• You have great attention to detail to maintain the accuracy of accounts, payments, and invoicing.

Education/Experience Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or equivalent discipline is required, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
• Experience preferably in the manufacturing industry
