Title: Help Desk Support IV
Location: Houston, Tx 77046
Duration: 6 month contract
Compensation: $40hr

Drive collaboration efforts between Proponents and Supply Chain Buyers to execute sourcing strategies through the SAP Ariba Guided Sourcing module.
Assist suppliers with the use of the cloud software from login to submission of RFP, RFI's, Reverse Auctions and Asset Sales.
- Communicate effectively with multiple Business Units and the needs for each to have custom sourcing templates that fulfill the needs of the procurement process.
- Answer technical questions on the software capabilities. Also work with developers to consistently improve the efficiency of the sourcing events.
- Help audit teams disseminate information from the system to ensure all PPSG's are adhered to by the system.
- Manage day to day requests for support from buyers, suppliers executing sourcing events in the system thru to award.
- Provide analytical reports to upper management highlighting the use and success of the sourcing events.
- Work with Supplier Registration team to ensure Supplier Database is correct and up to date with trading relationships.
- Create training videos and user guides for the complete Ariba sourcing process.
Required:
- Bachelor's in business administration or related field
- Understanding of oil and gas operations and well construction
- In depth knowledge of contracting principles, negotiating, and tendering practices.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba & Ariba systems
- MS Office proficiency
- 2 /- years of experience in Supply Chain Management and/or Procurement function
- Team-oriented, strong communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to train and advise less knowledgeable staff on the sourcing procedures
- Strong time management and organization skills
- Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work unsupervised and manage multiple strategies simultaneously.
Proficient skills:
- SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
