Position Overview:
The Senior Director of Infrastructure and Cybersecurity owns the technology capabilities for Technical Infrastructure and Information Security which support business initiatives and operations.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Owns core technical infrastructure capabilities including Local/ Wide Area Networks, Physical/Cloud/ Endpoint Computing, and Storage
- Serve as Solution Owner for all Cybersecurity related capabilities, including roadmapping and delivery and related technology initiative impact assessments
- Lead the Infrastructure, Network, Telecom, and Endpoint teams responsible for daily support operations and project implementation spanning over 3000 users, 130 stores, home office, and distribution center
- Owns all security & infrastructure vendors along with their technology stacks, costs, and performance ensuring vendors are fully leveraged and meeting expectations
- Owns the financial budget and forecast, including tracking variances monthly and driving cost optimization efforts
- Owns information security incident response coordination across intern and external team; acting as primary point of escalation and directing remedial action, as needed
- Lead periodic security assessments (risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing) and use findings to develop and refine program strategy and direction
- Own the system implementation, oversee configuration, upgrade and maintenance of relevant technology solutions
- Define and maintain the multiyear Infrastructure and Information Security capability roadmap, evaluating cost, alternative technologies, vendors, and security requirements
Additional Job Responsibilities
- Own enterprise information security standards and processes, including data protection laws and KS IT Security policies and processes
- Owns security awareness training program for KS staff
- Identifies, tracks, and reports on Information security SLAs, specifically focusing on program coverage, health, and efficacy
- Leader representing Infrastructure and Information Security in IT Change Review Board and Architecture reviews to evaluate and approve technology changes across the enterprise
- Participates in planning and developing company-wide IT strategies
- Collaborates with other IT solution owners in their provision of necessary services; including but not limited to Retail, Supply Chain, Finance, HR MP&A, eCommerce, and Marketing
- Support building out best practices and standardization of application management processes
- Ensure ongoing application health within the owned domain, managing upgrades, patches and maintenance processes
- Monitors technology industry trends to provide input on initiatives appropriate for our business model
- Oversee project delivery and operational support, and manage escalations
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- 15 years experience in IT Infrastructure spanning corporate computing (on-premises, hybrid, and cloud) endpoint computing, and networking
- 10 years experience in Information Security, 5 leading it (or a large portion of it)
- Demonstrated experience in managing 3 rd part vendors; particularly in an outsourced environment
- Experienced in supporting multiple remote business locations
- Experience facilitating and leading discussions with both technical and senior leadership regarding technical architectural solutions, trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
- Strong communication skills with a proven ability to build cross functional partnerships to make effective decisions collaboratively
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in IT/Retail (or at least large number of locations)
- Experience owning cloud-based security tools
- Experience with Endpoint hardening and remote management technologies

Preferred
- Experience in managing Technology in multi-unit Retail; preferably 100 locations
- Relevant Information Security technical certifications, including but not limited to: PCI, Security , CCNA/CCENT, CISSP, GIAC, OSCP
- Experience implementing automated infrastructure monitoring and alerting
- Experience in supporting corporate IT or service provider IT services for a high-growth company
- Experience with Meraki Wi-FI/LAN Switches, Meraki Firewalls, VeloCloud SD-WAN, Cradlepoint, Cisco AnyConnect VPN, AWS VPC
- Experience with AWS, VMware Cloud on AWS, and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
- Experience with the following End Point hardening security technologies: VMWare Workspace One, Carbon Black, Foresite, Windows Security Policies, Active Directory
- Experience managing one or more Telecom Expense Management providers
- Experience in both ERP and SaaS business solutions
- Experience with data visualization, analytic tools, reporting and dashboarding, cloud-based data platforms and machine learning capabilities
- Experience in both using both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
