Title: Tax Manager
Location: Orlando, FL
Duration: Direct Hire
Compensation: $90,000 - 100,000

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Reviews all Sales and Use tax returns to ensure accurate and timely compliance with state law.
Assists in the preparation of and conducts the final review of annual Federal Corporate return and associated state and city returns to ensure accurate and timely compliance with federal, state and city tax law.
Prepares Allocation and Apportionment schedule used to create state and city tax return data to ensure accuracy and timely compliance with state law.
Researches tax issues to ensure client complies with federal and state tax law.
Manages miscellaneous project work to deal with all issues that arise unexpectedly, such as tax audits and changes in tax law.
Oversee all domestic corporate tax audits and collaborate with VP Corporate Controller to support US GAAP audits
Responds to jurisdiction inquiries.
Prepares federal and state tax estimates and provision.
Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process.
Manage and facilitate federal and state audits: preparing responses and creating schedules.
Work closely with the Finance team on various projects, i.e. accounting reporting, processes and controls, cash flow management, acquisitions, tax structures, etc.
Prepare and maintain all corporate tax accounts and reconciliations
Education and/or Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience.
5-7 years tax experience with 3-5 years public accounting experience preferred.
Certifications, License, Registrations
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Analytical Skills
Knowledge of income tax preparation, regulations, compliance, and related issues.
Knowledge of Sales and Use tax concepts.
Knowledge of general accounting principles and concepts.
Strong research and analytical skills.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk and listen.
Machines, Equipment and Technical Abilities
In performing the essential job functions, the employee will be required to have proficiency with:
Strong computer skills including spreadsheet software (e.g., Excel).
